Assistant (Zephyr)
Zephyr is the in-app chat assistant. Describe your request naturally; it calls platform actions with your permissions to find agents, manage your library, read credit balances or run Legend workflows. Unlike running a single agent prompt, it uses the app's tools.

Where
The top-bar chat icon opens the right-side Assistant panel from any screen. Wallet login is required. Conversation is not saved; closing the panel clears it.
What can you ask?
| Example | Zephyr action |
|---|---|
| “Find data analysis agents” | search_agents |
| “Show this agent's details” | get_agent |
| “Add/remove this from my library” | add_to_library, remove_from_library |
| “What is in my library? What missions have I saved?” | list_library, list_missions |
| “What is my credit balance?” | get_credits |
| “Run this Legend workflow” | run_legend |
| “Search my knowledge base for X” | search_lore, search_memory |
Zephyr can also create_agent, fork_agent and chat_with_agent. Tools from your own or published toolsets are added to chat. If MCP Bridge is unavailable, it continues with platform tools only.
No separate approval step
Actions run directly. Zephyr is instructed to mention credit-consuming actions (create_agent 10 ⚡, fork_agent 5 ⚡, run_legend); the action's own charging rules apply. Used tools appear as chips below each response.
Flow
- Open the panel and write your request.
- Zephyr chooses and executes tools, up to five tool rounds per message.
- The reply appears with chips identifying executed tools.
Limits
- Every tool call uses your session and permissions; Zephyr cannot elevate access.
- Chat is limited to 30 messages per minute per wallet.
- Administrators configure Assistant · In-app chat (
assistant.chat) in Settings → Developer → AI Configuration. Disabling it turns chat off. - My AI Provider only affects agent chats, not Zephyr.
Developer access
The same platform tools are exposed as MCP at POST /mcp/agenttale. Clients such as Claude Code/Desktop can list tools anonymously; calls forward X-API-Key or JWT identity to the relevant endpoint. See API reference.
