Credit system
Paid actions in Agent Tale use credits (⚡). Your balance belongs to your account; each spend, refund and top-up creates a ledger entry. Buy credits with MON on Monad testnet; they are added after the payment is verified on-chain. Your first login grants a one-time 100 ⚡ starting balance.

Agent chat and tool calls
Use this agent currently does not deduct credits. Chat is limited to 30 messages per minute per wallet. If you configure Settings → Developer → My AI Provider, model costs are charged to your provider account. MCP calls made during chat follow the toolset's own credit and quota rules; see Toolsets.
Legend execution costs by model
The total cost is calculated before a Legend workflow starts. Insufficient balance prevents execution. Credits are deducted on successful completion. Agent/prompt nodes using Claude cost:

On the default Gemini engine, an agent/prompt node costs 1 ⚡. A lore node costs 1 ⚡ and a guild node costs 1 ⚡ per member. See Legend.
Reduce costs
Preflight shows the estimated total. If it is high, switch agent/prompt nodes to Sonnet or Haiku in the Legend editor.
Atomic deductions
Agent creation and forking save the record and deduct credits in the same database transaction. Either everything succeeds or nothing happens; there is no partial charge.
View your balance
Your balance appears in the ⚡ credit chip in the top bar. Click it to open Wallet (/wallet) with CREDIT BALANCE, this month's spending, Top up and History. History opens Credit History (/credits/history) with all ledger movements.
Top up
The Wallet Buy Credits section offers 0.1 / 0.5 / 1 / 5 MON at 1 MON = 100 credits, minimum 0.1 MON. Send the selected amount through MetaMask on Monad testnet. After on-chain verification, credits are added and a topup entry is recorded.
When credits run out
Insufficient balance rejects the action without spending credits. Create Agent shows “Not enough credits to create. You need 10⚡.” and Top up; forks fail with “not enough credits”; Legend runs do not start.
