Tale (Missions)

The sidebar Tale entry (/missions, heading YOUR MISSIONS) lists your Legend runs. Each row is an execution with workflow name, completed steps and live status. Its button opens the run's Observability trace.

Run list

Status Row content Button
Running Completed/total steps View
Awaiting Step awaiting approval Review
Done Step count and credits spent View
Error Error message Retry

All buttons open Observability. Review lets you approve there; Retry lets you inspect the error and does not automatically restart the run.

New mission opens Legend. With no runs, No runs yet offers Open Legend.

Mission templates

A mission is a reusable task template with a title, wallet-unique slug and prompt.

Concept Description
Slug Short name matching ^[a-z0-9][a-z0-9_-]*$, unique per wallet
Prompt Task text, 1–20,000 characters
#slug expansion #mission-slug expands into the full prompt
Public Listed in Discover's Missions tab
Schedule Five-field cron, for example 0 9 * * *

In the web app, Guild Master Save as Mission creates drafts; Zephyr lists saved missions; Discover shows public missions.

Editing and scheduling are API-only

Create, edit, publish, import, convert to Legend and cron scheduling endpoints exist in workspace-service (/api/v1/user/missions, /api/v1/missions/:id/...). There is no separate web editor yet.

Scheduling

With a five-field cron schedule, the scheduler checks due missions each minute. A run expands the prompt and #slug references and saves the result in MissionRun history. Manual triggers use the same history. These runs do not call a model, so they cost no credits.

Marketplace

Public community missions appear in Discover → Missions (Mission marketplace), with search.

Import button

Import and New Mission currently only open Tale; a web flow to copy the mission into your library is not yet available.

The Tales family

The MISSIONS sidebar group contains Tale (Legend run list), Legend (visual workflow editor and executor), Tester Squad (persona-based test-run records, linked from Proving Grounds) and Reflexes (event automation demo).
