Discovery and community
Cross-module features: search ranking, trending, similar agents, ratings, reviews and following.
Search and ranking
Discover uses weighted ranking:
| Field | Weight |
|---|---|
| Title | 3× |
| Tags | 2× |
| Description | 1× |
The query is split into up to five words, scored separately. Exact matches receive the full weight; words of three or more characters can receive partial scores through typo-tolerant Levenshtein matching. Some domain tags have synonyms, such as sql ↔ database.
With OpenSearch enabled, BM25 and semantic vector search use the same weights. If unavailable, search falls back to the database and shows “Search is running in a limited mode right now”. Without exact results, semantically close agents appear separately, labeled as similar results rather than mixed into the main list.
For controls see Discover.
Trending
The default sort highlights agents by saves and runs, with more weight on saves, when no search is active. The server also publishes a crawlable /trending page; see Public pages.
Similar agents
SIMILAR AGENTS shows prominent agents of the same character type, five by default. With vector search enabled, it uses semantic similarity. Empty results show “No similar agents yet.”
Ratings and reviews
Ratings use 1–5 stars with an optional comment up to 500 characters. Each wallet can vote a review helpful once and flag inappropriate comments. Agent detail shows the average Rating and commented REVIEWS with stars and helpful counts.
Submitting ratings is currently API-only
Authenticated endpoints include POST /api/v1/agents/:id/rate, …/ratings/:ratingID/helpful and …/ratings/:ratingID/flag. The UI displays reviews but has no rating form yet.
Following and activity
Use Follow / Following on other creators' profiles. Profiles show follower counts and published agents. A paginated activity feed is available at /api/v1/users/:wallet/feed. See Public profile.
