Frequently asked questions

Questions from all modules, with links to the detailed guides.

Getting started and credits

Do I receive credits on first login?

Yes. First identity verification through wallet signature, Google or email registration grants a one-time 100 ⚡.

Which actions cost credits?

Creation 10 ⚡, fork 5 ⚡, Sigil regeneration 3 ⚡, and Legend runs. Claude agent/prompt nodes cost Haiku 1, Sonnet 3, Opus 10 ⚡; Gemini nodes 1 ⚡; Guild 1 ⚡ per agent; Lore 1 ⚡. Browsing, saving, agent chat and Guild Master recommendations are free. Tool calls follow toolset quotas. See Credits.

Will I be charged if an action fails halfway?

Creation and forking save and charge in one transaction: all or nothing. Legend charges only on successful completion.

How do I top up?

Wallet → Top up / Buy Credits, using MON verified on Monad testnet. 1 MON = 100 ⚡, minimum 0.1 MON. Click the top-bar credit indicator to open Wallet.

Why do I see Wrong network?

Switch to Monad testnet, Chain ID 10143, using Switch to Monad. See Wallet login.

Discover and Collection

What are the Discover tabs?

Agents, public Workflows (opens Legend), public Missions (opens Tale) and Proving Grounds (sample data, opens Tester Squad). See Discover.

Why is a saved agent missing from Collection?

This is unexpected because caches invalidate through events. Refresh and check your JWT session is valid.

Can I see an agent's prompt?

Creators and purchasers can. Other viewers see a protected prompt. Fork a free agent to access the prompt in your own copy.

Does removing from Collection delete the agent?

No. Only your collection entry is removed; the Discover original is unaffected.

How do Discover and Collection differ?

Discover is the public showcase; Collection is your saved/purchased library. They share card designs.

Agent detail and chat

Who sees Save / Use / Fork / Edit?
Viewer Use Save Fork Edit
Creator Enabled Toggle Hidden Edit Card
Purchaser Enabled Toggle Enabled —
Visitor, free agent Fork first Toggle Enabled —
Visitor, paid agent Purchase required Toggle Purchase required —

Use means chat. Fork costs 5 ⚡, limited to ten per hour per wallet. Signed-out actions ask for a wallet connection.

Does agent chat cost credits?

Chat itself is free, limited to 30 messages per minute per wallet. Tool calls consume the toolset's quota.

Which tools can an agent call?

Granted toolsets and platform defaults only. Configure TOOLS / PERMISSIONS in Card Editor, including per-tool restrictions. Up to eight tool rounds per message; executed tools appear as chips.

Can I use my own key or model?

Use Settings → Developer → My AI Provider for Anthropic, Gemini or OpenAI-compatible providers. Keys are encrypted. Provider errors surface without platform-key fallback. Zephyr and Legend are unaffected.

Create Agent (Sigil)

How much does creation cost?

10 ⚡; fork 5 ⚡, Sigil regeneration 3 ⚡. See Create Agent.

Can I choose character_type and rarity?

AI analysis assigns them, with a prompt-based fallback. More detailed prompts improve quality score and rarity.

Can I change a Sigil I dislike?

Regeneration produces another variant for 3 ⚡; card text can be edited in Card Editor. See Create Agent → Sigil for the available retry flow and limits.

Why is my Sigil pending?

Image generation runs in the background and can take seconds, with automatic transient-failure retries. The card updates when ready.

Guild and Guild Master

How many members can a guild have?

Separate capacities: Shared Agents, default four, range 1–10; Members, default eight, range 1–50. Synergy uses pooled agents only. See Guilds.

How do I improve synergy?

Match complementary types, such as Wizard + Oracle = Data Sorcerer. Four distinct types earn Legendary Assembly, the broadest bonus.

Who can edit a guild?

Only the founder manages capacity, agent additions/removals, invitations and permissions. Others can join as members and share their first created agent.

Do team recommendations cost credits?

No. Guild Master is limited to 20 requests per minute per wallet. Bridge the recommendation to a Legend workflow, mission draft or guild. See Guild Master.

Tale, Missions and Legend

What does Tale show?

/missions lists Legend runs with workflow, step count and Running/Awaiting/Done/Error status. Buttons open Observability. See Tale.

How do missions differ from agents?

A mission is a reusable slug + prompt task template, referenced with #slug. An agent is an executable AI prompt and card.

What does #slug do?

#mission-slug expands into the full mission prompt, reusing long instructions through a short reference.

Can missions run automatically?

Through the API, set five-field cron such as 0 9 * * *. Each run expands the prompt and records history without calling a model or spending credits. There is no scheduling UI yet.

How much does Legend cost?

Claude agent/prompt: Haiku 1, Sonnet 3, Opus 10 ⚡; Gemini 1 ⚡; Guild 1 ⚡ per agent; Lore 1 ⚡. Charged on success. See Legend.

Must I restart after a failed workflow?

The API can resume using completed-node outputs, up to three times per run: POST /api/v1/user/legend/executions/:execId/resume. No web button yet.

Can Legend contain loops?

No. DAGs are acyclic, with at most 20 nodes and 30 edges.

Does Tester Squad actually execute tests?

Not yet. It records runs as Queued; the persona execution engine is inactive. See Tester Squad.

Do Reflexes automations run?

No. It is a sample-data demo; rules are neither saved nor triggered. See Reflexes.

Integrations: Toolsets, Connectors and Embassy

Should I use a Toolset or Connector?

Toolsets expose OpenAPI, remote MCP or Lore tools at /mcp/:slug to agents, Zephyr and Legend. Connectors only store a wallet-specific service registration and rotatable one-time agct_ token; they carry no traffic. For private-network projects, use Embassy. See Toolsets and Connectors.

Do I need special permission to import toolsets?

Any signed-in wallet can import OpenAPI, MCP or Lore, up to ten per hour. Only inference and platform-default assignment require ADMIN_WALLETS admin rights.

Are my API credentials secure?

Toolset credentials use AES-GCM. SSRF protection blocks private ranges unless operators explicitly allow them through ALLOWED_TOOL_CIDRS. Connector tokens are stored only as bcrypt hashes.

Can agents run on my own servers?

Embassy / MCP Base is a single database-free binary on your network. It converts OpenAPI to tools and optionally discovers services. Runner executes assigned agents with a local or configured cloud model. Reports await operator approval and, by default, only approved reports reach the platform. Register through /settings/projects, linked from Settings → Developer → MCP Bridge → Go to MCP Bases →. See Embassy.
