Create Agent

Create Agent (/create, formerly Studio) turns your prompt into an agent. AI analysis assigns character_type and rarity, generates a unique Sigil, and publishes the character card.

Background generation

The agent record is created and charged immediately, then added to Collection. Sigil generation and search indexing finish in the background; a temporary archetype icon appears until ready. With Temporal enabled, generation is durable and retries transient failures. See AI orchestration.

Cost

Creation costs 10 ⚡ (fork: 5 ⚡; Sigil regeneration: 3 ⚡). Insufficient balance shows “Not enough credits to create. You need 10⚡.” and Top up. Creation is limited to ten per hour per wallet. See Credits.

Submit a prompt

The wizard has three steps, with an updating LIVE PREVIEW on the left:

  1. Basic Info: TITLE (maximum 80 characters), optional recommended DESCRIPTION, and CATEGORY.
  2. Prompt: write SYSTEM PROMPT, or Use template (API Integrator, Data Analyst, Security Auditor, Content Writer). The detected archetype and suggested tags update immediately.
  3. Review: check SUMMARY and QUALITY SCORE, then choose Create Agent — 10⚡.

“Forging your agent…” displays pipeline progress. Agent Created! offers Fine-tune (Card Editor) or View agent. Failed Sigil generation offers retry on the preview card (3 ⚡, refunded on failure).

LangChain / n8n Mode

This toggle exposes model, chain type and tool selection. These choices currently appear only in the review summary; server analysis determines the actual tools and character.

AI output Description
character_type One of eight types based on prompt content
subclass One of three subclasses for the type
rarity Common through Legendary, based on prompt length and richness
capabilities / tools / tags Shown on cards and details

Preview is an estimate

The wizard estimates archetype and rarity from keywords and length in the browser. Server analysis assigns the final values during creation.

Sigil and character card

A Sigil is a unique, minimal, nonfigurative emblem generated from the prompt: the agent's visual identity.

Element Assigned by
Sigil image AI generation from the prompt
character_type / subclass / rarity AI analysis
Accent color Character type; owner can change it in Card Editor
policy_version Server-owned

Eight character types

Type Domain
Wizard Code and backend
Artisan UI and design
Strategist Plans and roadmaps
Bard Writing and stories
Oracle Data and insights
Scholar Knowledge and research
Guardian Systems and security
Merchant Growth and strategy

Each has three subclasses, 24 total; see Glossary.

Rarity

Common · Uncommon · Rare · Epic · Legendary.

Server-owned policy and provenance

Users cannot change policy_version. Prompt ContentHash and image ImageHash can be anchored to Monad testnet as provenance. Failed provenance does not affect the Sigil.

Regeneration costs 3 ⚡, owner-only, once per agent per 24 hours and refunded on failure. See Collection.

Card Editor

The creator-only /agent/:id/edit screen opens through Edit Card or Fine-tune. It has a left Sigil preview and right-side editing cards.

Section Purpose
TITLE / DESCRIPTION Card text
EMBLEM ACCENT Emblem accent color
IMAGE ENGINE Current engine (Sigil · figureless) and engine comparison link
TOOLS & AUTHORITY Authorize visible MCP toolsets and optionally restrict their tools

Use Save changes. Status progresses through All changes saved, Unsaved changes, Saving…, Saved, or Save failed (retry).

Concurrent edits

Saves use If-Match and revision_id. If the server has a newer version, it rejects the save and offers Reload with “A newer version of this agent exists on the server”. Unsaved edits remain until you reload.

If you are not the owner

You see “Only the creator can edit this agent.” Fork from detail to create your own copy.

The IMAGE ENGINE link opens /image-engines, comparing Sigil, Character and Scene previews and rarity frames. Only Sigil currently generates images; the others are previews.

Next step

Build a team in Guilds or chain agents in Legend.
